Hear favorites stories pulled from Sacramento's past

When it comes to spine-tingling stories, these experts have heard plenty. But which tales are the very best (or at least most memorable) unearthed from Sacramento's Historic City Cemetery?

Find out at 10 a.m Saturday, Oct. 5, when the cemetery's longtime guides share their personal favorites. It's a special tour they call, "Cream of the Crypt." Admission is free.

During what's expected to be a beautiful fall morning, learn interesting and often infamous stories about residents of the cemetery, Sacramento's oldest. It's also a chance to see the cemetery's famous gardens in fall bloom.

Meet at the cemetery's main gate, 1000 Broadway, Sacramento. Parking is available in surface streets.
Wear sensible shoes; surfaces are uneven during this walking tour.
