Saturday workshop focuses on sun-challenged areas
Is your garden made in the shade?
Learn how to make the most of less sun during a free three-hour workshop Saturday in Placerville.
Presented by the UCCE Master Gardeners of El Dorado County, this informative class will show how to turn this challenge into a garden asset with beautiful plants that thrive in dappled to deep shade.
Find plants that like dry shade as well as moist spots in addition to plants that prefer part or full shade.
No advance registration is necessary. Starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, the workshop will be held at the Government Center Hearing Room, 2850 Fairlane Court, Placerville.
