Folsom nursery hosts annual garden ideas fair March 7

It’s (almost) time to dig into spring!

Find inspiration, practical tips and a lot more during Green Acres’ eighth annual Dig Into Spring Ideas Fair, set for Saturday, March 7.

From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Folsom location will host garden talks, demonstrations, raffles and more to get gardeners ready for the busy season ahead. Admission is free.

Featured will be three workshops:

At 11 a.m., learn about houseplant trends and how to make your indoor garden thrive.

At noon, barbecue master Tyler Mentink will share his tips on how to be a better griller and a backyard barbecue star.

At 1 p.m., Kyle Hagerty of Urban Farmstead will share his secrets to success for “Edible Gardening: How to Grow a Bumper Crop This Year.”

In addition, find thousands of beautiful plants, including a wonderful selection of blooming shrubs, as well as everything you need for garden success.
