Show your indoor flora some TLC (and unwind, too)

During this recent heat wave, we’ve been spending more time indoors. That means it’s time to show our indoor garden some TLC.

The Secret Garden in Elk Grove is promoting houseplant quality time with a monthly Houseplant Happy Hour.

Actually three hours, Houseplant Happy Hour is a happy plant party, held on the first Tuesday of each month. The next one will be held 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 5.

“Come get your plant fix and wander the garden while enjoying a complimentary beverage and treats,” says the host. Of course, there’s a sale, too; 15% off all houseplants and small pottery. Take home a new favorite indoor friend.
